To check the status of the service you can use:

systemctl status ssh.service

SSH Service Commands

  • To start the servcie systemctl start ssh.service
  • To stop the servcie systemctl stop ssh.socket
  • To enable the servcie systemctl enable ssh.service
  • To disable the servcie systemctl disable ssh.service

For temporarily start up of SSH service

  • systemctl start ssh.socket
  • systemctl stop ssh.socket

Connect to SSH Server (From Client)

  • ssh username@ipaddress
